November 11, 2007 – 2:09 pm

Yes as you see a Widget to right in this post and one in top I’m testing a new Adsense like advertisement program for blogs and sites christened as WidgetBucks. WidgetBucks displays advertisement in your website/blog in form of nice looking shopping widgets consisting of description of products and other related information like best price,descriptions etc. You get paid if some one clicks on these ads displayed in the widgetbuck widget that is published in your site. As you know I’ve started showing widgetbuck ads here but that’s is for a test drive and here goes review.

Signup For WidgetBucks & Get $25 Free Right Now (Minimum Payout:$50)

Yes as they are a new program as an incentive they are offering $25 to those who signup for a free account at widgetbucks. So you get $25 for free and need toe arn $25 which is not difficult and then get your payment via paypal or cheque.

(+) WidgetBucks As Most Popular Adsense Alternative

Widgetbucks has become very popular now and is among the best adsense alternative but it’s target was to beat adsense. Many people say that it has done exactly that and as widgetbucks publishers are making much more money by showing widgets in their sites/blog than they earned with adsense. So widget bucks pays maximum money per click and payment per click is much more than adsense which made it popular. Critics predict that to beat adsense paying higher per click was the only method and it would pay less once it become famous. But till now as per my experience in publishing widgetbucks ads in some of my sites my earnings are about $0.23-$0.5 per click which is not bad. Also it was higher when it was brand new.

(+) Earn More! WidgetBuck Pays More Money Per Clicks (Pays 0.5$ to 0.75$ per click)

Adsense normally pays $.01 in most cases for low paying keywords but widgetbucks pays from $0.2 to $0.75 per clicks on it’s ads. Well from case studies and by using widget bucks i find it’s ads have paid me $.23 minimum and $.5 maximum per clicks. I’m displaying such ad widgets in some of my sites. Earning $.23 minimum per click is too good because adsense might have paid you $.23 after about 10 clicks minimum.

(+) Show Contextual Ads Or You Choose Categories Of Ads To be Displayed In Widgets

So like adsense the ads in your widget@your website would be matching your site’s/blog’s content which is done using it’s merchsense technology. Also you can choose the categories/types of ads that needs to be displayed in a specific widget@your site. Ads are contextual and also we can control what to show. So we can show different ads categories at diff. pages according to site’s content by creating new categories for each page & selecting appropriate categories for each ad widget@widgetbucks.

(.) CPM Higher $3-$6 (neutral)(0)

Also it pays on CPM basis like Adsense but CPM rate is highest@ $3-$6 CPM. CPM should not be considered as it’s good.

(-) Ad Widgets Loading Slow & May break The Themes

I find these widgetbucks widgets are taking time to load in blog(you can test and comment if it loads slow or ok) so an improvement in widget (Adobe Flash App) loading speed is an immediate requirement. Also it has to fetch data from Mpire.Com it’s main site. And it breaks themes especially white n simple themes. One day my firefox browser closed when opened a page with too many such widgets. But i also agree broadband speed not so great here in India.

Review Summary -> Points = 3(+ves) - 1(-ves) =+2 Points

So widget bucks now is more powerfull than adsense and pays more but widgets r slow. Signup for a free account at widgetbucks n get $25 free

Note: Click fraud and other illegal things are never tolerated and you can not put ads on warez type sites - bollywood sites, ddl sites,rapidshare forums etc. Else they may ban you.They have not started issuing payments till now because they r new. But have banned many publisher violating their terms.
